My stinky lil hambone... He's a pretty good old man. Sam was, like the rest, a shelter dog. My husband and I were volunteering taking photos of the shelter animals to post on Petfinder.com when we met Sam. Sam had been returned to the shelter twice. We decided if he was still at the shelter in a week (after my hubby returned from a trip) we'd bring him home. And we did.
He's a stubborn, lovable, sweet guy. He's pretty much deaf now, his eyes are cloudy, and he has some trouble getting around in his old age, but he still has a good attitude. He's not a quitter, that's for sure!

I'm going to try to get back into my VOX habit, starting today! July 17th will be my one year anniversary on VOX. Wow. Doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

Sam again today. He's the handsome one. He's also the oldest of the three. He'll be 12 in May.
This is the view out my window right now. Blowing, icky snow. Just a couple weeks ago we had that wonderful day of 80 degrees... *sigh*
The dogs love it though. Here's snowy Sam. He didn't want to come back inside!
